Media & Photography Policy
AAHSSCPA documents its programs, events, and community activities through photography and video as part of our mission to preserve and share African American history throughout South Central Pennsylvania.
Event Photography & Recording
Photographs and video recordings may be taken at AAHSSCPA programs, tours, lectures, and public events.
By attending an AAHSSCPA event, you acknowledge that your image or likeness may be captured in photographs or recordings.
These materials may be used for:

Printed publications and promotional materials

Grant reporting and organizational communications
Respect for Participants
We strive to photograph events respectfully and responsibly. Images are selected to reflect the dignity of our programs and community.
If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify an event organizer upon arrival, and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request.
Minors
For youth programs or events involving minors, a parent or legal guardian should notify organizers if they do not wish their child to be photographed.
