The Society was organized in 2005 as an affiliate of the Crispus Attucks Center of Lancaster, with the mission to collect, analyze, and interpret basic information about the life of African Americans in the South Central region of the Commonwealth.

The Society now operates independently.

MONTHLY MEETINGS

African American Historical Society of South Central PA monthly meetings are held the 3rd Sunday of every month, from 3:00 pm -4:00 pm at the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology Orange Street Campus
