About the event
Join the African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania (AAHSSCPA), in collaboration with Bethel AME Church of Lancaster, for an exciting day of history, heritage, and fellowship in Philadelphia!
Our journey begins with a visit to the African American Museum in Philadelphia, where we'll explore the rich history, culture, and contributions of African Americans.
Next, we'll visit historic Mother Bethel African Methodist Episcopal Church, founded by Bishop Richard Allen. Discover the remarkable history of the AME Church, its role in the struggle for freedom and equality, and its lasting legacy.
We'll also stop at Philadelphia's famous Reading Terminal Market, where you can enjoy lunch on your own and browse a wonderful variety of food vendors and shops.
Tickets: $55 per person
Your ticket includes round-trip motorcoach transportation and admission to both historic sites. Lunch and personal purchases are not included.
