About the event

Join us for a conversation with Gerri McCritty, a multidisciplinary artist whose work reflects her journey from Liberia, West Africa, to Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Gerri will share how her life experiences, cultural roots, and creative evolution have shaped her art, including her work in painting and sculpture using wood, bronze, clay, plaster, and found objects. She will also discuss the vision behind PAVAA Gallery, an Afrocentric performance and visual arts space in northeast Lancaster, and how she blends visual art, music, and Afro-percussion to create a dynamic, community-centered artistic practice.
