About the event

Join the African American Historical Society of South Central Pennsylvania at the Winters House History Museum, 47 E. High Street in Elizabethtown, for a special presentation led by our Tour Guides, Sylvia Cavanaugh and Nelson Polite, Jr. This program transforms our popular guided tours into an accessible, engaging indoor experience.

Through storytelling, visuals, and historical insight, Sylvia and Nelson will guide attendees through the people, places, and moments that have shaped our local Black history - offering the same depth and richness of our walking tours in a comfortable, seated setting. Whether you're new to our tours or returning to learn more, this presentation offers a meaningful opportunity to connect with the stories that define our communities.
